DITCH THE DIAPER, DO THE DANCE!

The Barrow household is well underway to being diaper free!!!! Brynn has been on and off potty-training for a few months now, but we're trying to be more consistent with her and she's really doing great! She's more successful when we are firm and tell her she needs to go before doing some fun, like, "you have to use the potty before we can go outside". If she's playing she'll keep playing...so we're not 100 %. But I can see the diaper-less light at the end of the tunnel!
She has a few Minnie Mouse big girl pants that she loves, and has asked for some Dora ones too. Right now pull-ups are our friend.
We are so proud of her!
What have the Barrow babes been up to?
Dancing like princesses.

Anna believes the reason to get married is so you can dance with your prince. Well, it's one of the many benefits! :)

Our backyard is getting a LOT of use. The girls are really enjoying our backyard neighbors, Lexie and Cami, and while they aren't quite old enough to babysit, they do provide excellent entertainment!

Anna is digging for money here. Apparently someone buried their treasures here many years ago...

Anna's latest successes are: pumping her legs on the swing and being able to button her clothes. She is SO proud of these accomplishments, she wants to show everyone possible. Please excuse any modesty if she shows you how she unbuttons her dress! :)

Party time!
The Richmond SPCA was the purrrfect place to host Anna's birthday party.
She requested a pink cat cake and Mommy tried her skills in cake decorating. The cupcakes were made with brown M&M's and mini York Peppermint Patties.
The 3 Amigos
Anna, Devin, and Timmy

Don't worry- we fixed Brynn's hair!
Waiting for the craft to begin- painting dog bowls!
All the kids enjoyed decorating their dog bowls and some made them for their dogs while others made them for themselves.

Pete the puppy joined the party! Of course he is available for adoption...
Anna thought he was sweet.

Before we went downstairs to meet the bigger dogs, the kids sat and listened to the rules.
They each got treats to feed the dogs,
and then they got treats for themselves!

All the kids were confused and wondered where their presents were, but were happy once they received party favors!
For the last activity, we visited one of the cat rooms, where we donated mice to the sweet kitties.

Everyone had a great time!

Anna's first day at Core Academy

John and I took Anna to her first Gymnastics class on Saturday. She's signed up for an 8 week class and this is the first organized activity outside of daycare that she's been involved in so we're pretty excited (and so is she). We arrived early to get used to the place and fill out paperwork. As the other girls (about 6 of them) arrived, we started meeting the group. Some of them had been taking gymnastics since 18 months old! Anna was painfully shy at first because she wasn't 100% sure what to do, but once the "stretching" was over, she warmed up to the "follow the leader" style activities. Her favorite activity was climbing through a tent, and by the end of the class she was thoroughly enjoying herself. I can't wait to see what she learns from this class!
Strike a pose

America's next top model??

Happy 4th Birthday, Anna!!!

Anna received complete rainy weather gear from Grandma- boots, raincoat, and an umbrella! Grandma had perfect timing for the rainy weekend.
She accidently spotted her new bike downstairs in the garage before we wanted her to see it. She was still excited to actually ride it though!
Anna or Kenny??

Not to be outdone by her sister....

She always has the greatest reactions to opening presents.

Happy Birthday, sweet girl!!
