More fun at the beach!

Brynn wasn't a big fan of the sand or the wind. She was ok as long as one of us was holding her, but she definitely preferred the pool!

We had a great week at Bald Head. Anna will tell you she loved riding the ferry boat, seeing the animals (fox, deer, raccoon, lizards, frogs), swimming in the ocean and the pool, and watching TV (she has a new obsession with Diego). Brynn really enjoyed sharing a room with Anna, floating in the pool, and eating every ounce of every meal. I think she eats 3x as much food as Anna does!

We played with Cup A'Joe (he's really soft!)

We learned about what raccoons like to eat (everything!)

2 of the babies

Our record raccoon night was 5! 2 adults and 3 babies came to visit one night, while the girls were still awake. It was a treat to watch them on the back deck, sharing Anna's leftover lunch.

We learned that a watering can is a lot of fun to play with at the beach, especially when Daddy has to swim after it multiple times.

We learned that goggles make for a really cute picture.

We learned that spending time outside is nice until the mosquitos find you.

We learned that riding in the bike trailer with our loveys makes an excellent workout for daddy.

Black and white fun at the beach!

The other day, while shopping at Costco, Anna put her arm around Brynn, hugged her, and said, "Mom, we're best friends." I didn't even know she knew what that meant. But it's becoming evident that they are on their way to being BFFs!
They play house together

They make music together

They eat together

Anna gets so excited when Brynn wakes up from her naps, she says, "Brynnie's awake, Mom! Go get her!" It's adorable!
I guess this is a requirement for all babies: Must dip hands in dog's water bowl.

Must dip BOTH hands in dog bowls. Scowling at Anna approaching her newly found playarea
You mean I have to clean it up? Am I old enough for this much responsibility?
